Quoting Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar who said he considered the Palestinian Authority equal a terrorist group like Hamas, Tarnopolsky said that “it is actually a position that has tripped up the Israeli government very badly, refusing to accept the internationally recognized authority of the Palestinian government”.
