
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman Rinku Singh received special honors for the franchise before his match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams will be held on Thursday at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Rinku Singh received a special jersey from Kolkata Knight Riders Management as the ongoing game against Sunrisers Hyderabad marked his 50th appearance in the IPL. The left-handed was honored by the three-time IPL champion with the “50” “Just” jersey.

Rinku Singh has been an integral part of Kolkata Knight Riders since 2018
Rinku Singh has been an integral part of Kolkata Knight Riders since 2018. The lefty was acquired for a franchise of Rs 8 million in a large auction, but he only played 4 games that season and he hadn’t played many games. In 2019, he played only 5 games, and he also played in one game in 2020.
Rinku Singh was on the bench throughout the season in 2021 after the series brought him Rs 5.5 lakh in IPL 2022 Mega Auction. The batsman played seven games that season and had a glimpse of what he could do before becoming a permanent member of the team in 2023.
Rinku Singh slammed Yash Dayal five sixes in 2023 to win the final race for the Kolkata Knight Riders. The Indian batsman also played a huge role for the team in his 2024 award-winning victory, where the team played a huge role under Shreyas Iyer.
Prior to IPL 2025, Rinku Singh was one of the highest reservations for Kolkata Knight Riders. He reached a deal of INR 1.3 billion. The batsman starts the season slowly and as the season goes through, he will be eager to have a huge impact on the team.

Rinku Singh became the sixth player to play 50 games for the Kolkata Cavaliers. He added to the roster, which is the first of Sunil Narine, who is playing Game 180 for the team. Andre Russell ranked second, winning 124 games in the defending champions.
The Caribbean duo is followed by current Indian coach Gautam Gambhir, who played for 108 games for KKR. Yusuf Pathan made 106 appearances, while Nitish Rana also had 90 games.
