Rohit Sharma’s fan base forces MCA to expand seats for BKC Mumbai vs J&K Ranji Trophy match


The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is all set to increase the seating arrangement at the BKC Stadium for the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy match between Mumbai and Jammu and Kashmir. The match between the two teams will begin on Wednesday (January 23), and Indian stars such as Rohit Sharma will appear in the game.

The Mumbai team will also feature Indian stars Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shreyas Iyer. Along with him, Ajinkya Rahane and some other exciting players will also be available for the Ranji Trophy second round match against Jammu and Kashmir.

The Mumbai Cricket Association is expecting fans in large numbers to watch their favorite players, which will feature many renowned players. Currently, there are 100 spectator seats in the stadium and the association is likely to increase this to 500 seats in the upcoming games.

A source close to the Mumbai Cricket Association confirmed the development, saying fans will have to show their ID cards at the entrance. He also mentioned that there will be security arrangements at BKC. He explained in an interview with The Times of India:

“Normally, BKC arranges seats for more than 100 spectators, but we will provide around 500 seats for fans near the ground machinery. Fans will have to show their I-cards at the entrance. Considering the presence of Indian stars, BKC also There will be appropriate security arrangements.”
