India Star Sanzhou SamsonFather Viswanath has once again launched an attack on the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA), accusing them of “conspiracy” against his son. Ever since Viswanath’s son was dropped from the Kerala side competing for the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he has gone all out against KCA.
Reports suggest that KCA made the big decision after Sanju Samson did not participate in the mandatory preliminary camp. Later, KCA president Jayesh George also criticized the batsman’s role in the entire drama. George claims Sanju Samson has only himself to blame for quitting camp with just one text message.
Viswanath, however, was completely unimpressed with the KCA’s decision and the President’s recent remarks against his son. Samson Sr. doubled down on his attack on the association and accused them of tarnishing his son’s reputation.
A worried Viswanath also said that KCA may use Sanju Samson as a scapegoat for any wrongdoing. He also urged other state associations to give his son the chance to represent them.
“I knew about six months ago that they were planning against Sanju. KCA was plotting things in such a way that he left Kerala. We cannot fight them. There are directors there. You cannot talk back to them, you cannot challenge them . My child is not safe.
“They will blame everything on Sanju and people will believe them. So I really want my son to stop playing cricket for Kerala. If any state wants to give my son a chance, say ‘Sanju’ Zhu, come and play for us,’ I would like to make that call,” Samson Viswanath told Sports Tak.

Viswanath further defended his son, saying he was just an individual opposing a “big and powerful association”. He said the KCA may come up with some conspiracy theories against his son in the coming days. He also made it clear that he had no intention of seeing his son play for North Korea again in the future.
“Sanju is just an individual while KCA is a big and powerful organization. I am worried that they will come up with conspiracy theories against my son. I don’t know why they are going after us. We have done nothing wrong by them or anything related to this Others.
Three weeks ago I never enjoyed anything but cricket in my life. He focused on nothing else but the cricket field and practice. He has dedicated his life to cricket for 30 years and now he is isolated. I have had enough; want him out of this association (KCA),” Viswanath said.
Meanwhile, Sanju Samson features for India in the first T20I against England at the Eden Gardens on Wednesday (January 22). While Samson failed to score a run in the match, he did give India an explosive start.
