Super Bowl champ Sean Landetta angered by radio host’s grooming questions


previous new york giants Punter Sean Landeta isn’t too happy with one of his former teammates after he revealed what Landeta said was a false and “embarrassing” locker room story from their time playing together.

In an interview with a Philadelphia radio station, Landetta was asked about his ex Eagles wide receiver Freddie Mitchell’s Landetta claimed that he would groom his “sand spots” in front of other players when he played for the Eagles from 1999 to 2002.

The two-time Super Bowl champion stayed calm but was clearly annoyed by the question.

“Now, my first thing is – do you want to call me in prime time in Philadelphia and talk to me about something like that? Are you kidding me,” he said in response to 94 WIP host Spike Eskin (Spike Eskin) said.

“I like Freddie. He’s a good teammate and all that. But what he said is absolutely false. I completely deny being in a sauna with Jon Rich. That never happened.

“I’m disappointed in Mr. Mitchell. I have to talk to him about this.”

But Landetta, who won two championships with the Giants, turned his attention back to radio hosting.

“You call it fun, but it’s one person making another person feel awkward talking about things. Trust me, I understand how that works. I’m very disappointed that he would say that, especially when it’s not true ”

Landetta further said the question was a ratings grab.

“I think the Eagles are going to have a playoff game and they’re not going to talk about the guys in the sauna,” Landetta said.

Landetta has spent much of his more than two decades career National Football League Played for the Giants. He also played for the Eagles, Rams and Buccaneers.
