The Israeli government has approved a cease-fire agreement in Gaza that is due to take effect on Sunday




The Israeli government has approved a deal with the Palestinian militant group Hamas on a ceasefire and the release of hostages in the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s office said on Saturday, a day before the deal was scheduled to begin. The fighting is expected to be suspended at 06:30 GMT on Sunday.
