Dan Norris, a Labor MP and Mayor of Western England, arrested in doubt of sexual transgressions and rape.

The Labor Party said it suspends MP for North East Somerset and Hanham on Saturday after he knew his catch.

Avon and Somerset police say that a man at the age of 60s is arrested on Friday and since being released by conditioned bail.

The force that a statement says: “At December 2024, we received a referral from another police force associated with about 23000 but also investigated an alleged rape offense from 2020s.”

The investigation, led by rape of energy and severe sexual investigation of the team, continued and “at an early stage”, the statement added, according to the press association. “Supported and given the victim with any specialist assistance or support he or she needs.”

A worker’s spokesman said: “Dan Norris MP was immediately suspended by the Labor Party for his arrest.”

The party says it does not comment further while a police investigation is initiated. Norris disappears parliament whip, according to the people who are familiar with this matter.

Norris was first selected at the Commons house as MP for Wansddyke, Somerset, in 1997 and designed Minister of 2010

In 2021 the Mayor’s West was selected by England, before returning to Parliament in a change of Somerset Constitucyuity of the total election in July.

His arrest was first reported on Sunday’s day.

Norris did not immediately answer the request for comment.
