Seoul (Reuters) -Go accuses South Korea prosecutors to Impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol on Sunday in cases leading an insurrection with his short life martial law on December 3, the main party to opposition.

The charges have not previously occurred for a President of South Korea, and if you can confess, Yoon can face years in prison because of his shock martial law decree, which is trying to ban political and parliamentary activity and media control.

His step causes a waves of political tumult of the fourth largest Asian economy and a primary ally in the US, with Prime Minister also impeached and suspended by power and several major officers in the military accused of their roles in alleged insurrection.

The fiscal office does not respond to requests for comment. The charge was also reported to the South Korean media.

The anti-corruption investigators last week recommend that the case, who was imprisoned by Yoon, who was impeached in Parliament and was suspended by his duties on December 14.

A formerly high prosecutor of himself, Yoon is in a single imprisonment since the first president was arrested on January 15 after the days of the opposite, armed standoff between his security details and arresting the officials .

According to his criminal process, the top tribunal will determine if you remove Yoon’s office or return his power to the president, with 180 days of deciding.

The Parliament was impeached by South Korea’s opposition to Yoon on December 14, which made him a second conservative president impeached in the country.
