The Village People will perform at Trump’s inauguration events




American disco group Village People rose to fame in the late 70s for their sing-along dance-pop hits and colorful stage performances. Their best-known hit, “YMCA,” is widely considered a gay anthem — and became a staple of Trump rallies in the last election, along with their hit “Macho Man.” The American disco group is scheduled to perform at one of Trump’s inaugural balls and a rally he is holding in Washington the day before he is sworn in.
