The White House summarized Trump’s orders this week suspending border entry By Reuters

(Reuters) – The White House on Wednesday summarized U.S. President Donald Trump’s sweep of the U.S.-Mexico border this week.

Trump took office on Monday and issued a raft of executive orders aimed at curbing illegal immigration and advancing his goal of deporting millions of immigrants who are in the US illegally. He made immigration a key issue in his election campaign last year.

The White House on Wednesday released a fact sheet related to an executive order signed by Trump on Monday, his first day in office. No further orders were signed on Wednesday.

“President Trump has used every lever of his executive power to secure our nation’s borders. This was the number one promise he made to the American people on the campaign trail,” White House press secretary Karoline said. Leavitt in an interview with Fox News on Wednesday.
