WASHINGTON (Reuters) – TikTok told users in the United States on Saturday that it would be “temporarily unavailable” on Sunday when a law banning the app goes into effect in the United States.

Users who logged in were met with a message stating that the law “will force us to make our services temporarily unavailable. We are working to restore our service in the US as soon as possible. ” Saturday users can still click on the message and operate the app.
