TikTok will ‘go dark’ in the US on Sunday




TikTok says it will “go dark” in the United States on Sunday unless the government provides assurances that the new law calling for its ban will not be used to punish service providers. The US Supreme Court on Friday upheld legislation backed by President Joe Biden and Congress that would require app owner ByteDance to either sell TikTok or cease operations in the US by January 19.
