Title race looks at all after gunners have paid a fine

Arsenal suffered a potentially crucial blow to his dizzy hopes in the Premier League title race as he was a 1-1 draw at Everton.

Gunners hoped to reduce Liverpool’s lead by nine points to the top with a victory over Gudison Park’s final journey.

When Leandro Trosard put them fired in the 34th lead, Mikel Arteta’s men looked at the way of achieving that feat.

However, the 49th minute penalty of Iliman ADI proved to be enough to get the Everton part of the robbery, leaving Arsenal 11 -point Liverpool, which could extend the distance with a victory at Fulham on Sunday.

Both sides threatened with set-piece in the first half without testing the goalkeeper and, instead of the dead-ball delivery, it was an anti-attack that brought Arsenal opener.

Idrisa Gana Guye and Jarrad Brenthwaite went for the same ball, descending kindly for the former header, Rahim Sterling, who moved to the edge of the cuses before setting up the Jordan Pickford and for the trosard in the bottom-right corner.

The Pickford had to warn the trosard to reject the second time in the stoppage time of the first half because Arsenal controlled the controlled matters after breaking the deadlock, when the returning NDA bent over the crossbar from a long range, producing the best moment of Everton’s early period.

But Everton had a way back in the game when Miles Louis-Scale down Jack Harrison down inside the area and, despite a long delay for the VAR check, NDA kept his composure to send David Ryan wrong and level matters.

Abdaul then drew a smart savage from Dakore David Rai as Everton turned his head to his head, but after Lavis-Skille’s excellent run, Jordan Pickford was required to pull well on the other end.

Martin Odegard should do better with the chance of the nearest range, and Gabriel Martinelli pushed the Pickford at the second diving stop as Arsenal was forced to the late winner.

Mikel Marino then widened the header, and it proved to be the ultimate opportunity for the gunners as they failed to keep pressure on the liverpool, which could be firmly considered as a champion-soaked on the craven cottage.

Arsenal will take a strong finish in the game with Real Madrid at least Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg, but the draw is another result of a season in which Liverpool has lost many opportunities to challenge seriously.
