Heavyweight contender Richard Torrez Jr. 5:30 pm ET / 2:30 pm ET. From Pearl Concert Theatre at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
2020 US Olympic silver medalist Torrez Jr. (12-0, 11 KOS) was quickly followed by the sponsors of his top position, and they believe he is enough to compare him to 6’6” Italian Vianello (17-1, 14 KOS).
Torrez Jr, 6’2″, struggled among amateurs against the tall Bakhodir Jalolov, defeating him twice at a time. Vianello doesn’t have that kind of power, but he can hit enough to beat Torrez Jr.
Vianello has shown progress since the 10-round split decision on Efe Ajagba on April 13 last year. In his final battle, Guido, 30, stopped Arslanbek Makhmudov in the eighth round on August 17, in which he looked like pure gold.

“I’m so happy to show everyone and my family that I’m all the fighter. Sometimes people think I’ll hurry you up. Sometimes people think I’ll just stand up.” Final press conference Heavyweight match against Guido Vianello in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 5.
For Torrez Jr., it might be a mistake to give up his fighting style of quarrels in this game, as he has been using this method since his amateur days. It has always worked for him. Trying to be a boxer sound like Torrez Jr. tries to fix something that doesn’t need to be fixed.
“I’m so happy to show some different aspects of my game. I absolutely believe it.
“Guido brought a lot of tables. He was a real tall man (6’6″) and he knew how to use his height. I’m really happy to show off my boxing ability and how I can get to where I am today and show that I should be here. ”
It sounds like Torrez Jr. has a chip on his shoulder and wants to prove himself. He has done a lot in his short career and should not be overdoing it.
