The Israeli forces shot a two -year -old girl in her head in her west coast on Saturday while eating dinner with her family, according to health officers and family members.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health says that Laila Muhammad al-Khatib was shot during the Israeli military raid in the village of Ash-Shuhad, south of Jenin.
“They started shooting at us through the windows without any warning,” said Ghada Asous, grandmother, young children. “Suddenly special forces made us convert and fired through the windows.”
Media reports say the pregnant mother also sustained light injuries. Pictures from the scene showed bullet holes in the windows of the house.
The funeral was held on Sunday.
