The aircraft received an “alert on board” that there was another aircraft nearby and airline drivers issued corrective instructions on both aircraft, according to FAA.

NTSB officials said they were aware of “a loss of separation” between the aircraft shortly after DCA takeoff.
Two riders, three flight attendees and 131 passengers were aboard the delta flight.
Delta officials said that the flight crew followed the instructions of the traffic alert and avoidance alert system, according to training and procedures.
The FAA said it will investigate the incident.
