
American Airlines from New York City Tokyo was forced to turn around in the Pacific on Monday night and flew back to Dallas-Worth, Texas, after experiencing “maintenance issues.”
American Airlines Flight 167 departed from New York’s John Kennedy International Airport (JFK) around 11 a.m. Monday and is expected to land at Haneda Airport (HND) in Tokyo, Japan around 2 p.m. the next day.
Flight awareness data shows that when the plane passed the plane nearly seven hours ago, the plane had passed the United States, and in the Pacific, it turned around and returned to the United States.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner flew over several states, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado and Oklahoma, and finally landed on Dallas – Worth Value Monday before 10:15 pm, International Airport.

“We never want to disrupt our customers’ travel plans, and we are sorry for any inconveniences that have been brought about,” the American said.
