Venezuela Loses Appeal of $8.5 Billion ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) Arbitration Award

An international arbitration court maintained an award ordering Venezuela to pay ~$8.5 million to ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP) on the expropriation of its crude oil assets in 2007, the Argus reported on Thursday.
