Vigil held at Auschwitz “Death Wall” 80th anniversary


Survivors of Auschwitz commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp in Poland.

People left candles in mourning at the “Death Wall” outside Auschwitz concentration camp 11, where thousands of prisoners were executed by SS officers.

Polish President Andrzej Duda also delivered a speech during the first part of the day of mourning.
