Rohit Sharma forgot that the microphone was on while discussing the new rules with the chief elector. As the press conference began, the conversation was interrupted. Rohit mentioned that he had to sit for another two hours discussing the matter with the BCCI secretary as everyone was telling him about it.

“After the PC we have to discuss the house rules with the secretary and all the players are calling me”.

When reporters asked Rohit Sharma about this, he replied: “Who told you these rules? Did it come from any official source? Let’s make it official first.”

India’s final line-up for the Champions Trophy will depend on Jasprit Bumrah’s fitness

India’s final line-up for the Champions Trophy will be based on their upcoming three ODI matches against England on February 6, 9 and 12. This will be their first 50-over match since the tour of Sri Lanka in August 2024. It is worth noting that the International Cricket Council will allow adjustments to the lineup until February 11.

India’s group matches will be held in Dubai, where they will face Bangladesh on February 20, Pakistan on February 23 and New Zealand on March 2. All India’s matches will be played in Dubai as the Indian government refused to allow the team to travel to Pakistan due to security concerns.
