“We fight for …”: Post Viral highlights China Links cities to 300 kmph, while India debates its first bullet train route


In 1969, India proudly released its first Rajdhani Express, becoming only the second country in Asia after Japan runs trains of more than 100 kmph. More than five decades later, the railway infrastructure gap between India and China tells a very different story.

While China has advanced with a high -speed railway network built at the speed of Breakneck, India continues to establish the foundations of its first high -speed hallway. The contrast emphasizes deeper differences in the way the two nations plan, prioritize and execute development in the context of their political and social structures.

By 2020, 75% of Chinese cities with populations of more than 500,000 had a high -speed railway link, an achievement that highlights the scale and speed of China’s infrastructure game.
