New York Jets’ regular season 2024. They finished the season with a record of 5-12 and missed a playoff playoff.
The Jets have since hired new coach Aaron Glenn and with Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. It’s New York’s new regime, as the franchise appears to end the NFL’s longest playoff drought.
The next step in the franchise is the 2025 NFL Draft, which is a great opportunity for the team to acquire high-potential rookies. With that in mind, here are the positions that need urgent attention in this year’s draft.

What position does the New York Jet need?
#3 Tight
this Jet Young at quarterback position by signing double threat star Justin Fields. But to make the most of the former Chicago Bears’ outstanding performance, they will need a new tension.
This year’s draft is full of highly upward ends, and it is considered one of the deepest classes in recent memory in that position. Jets should carefully study the LSU Tigers product Mason Taylor.
Taylor is an explosive catcher with hands, with good hands and NFL caliber sizes. He is the son of Professional Football Hall of Fame member Jason Taylor, who has grown up around the league and knows one or two things about one or two in the NFL space.
#2 wide receiver
this New York Jets Davante Adams was released at the end of the 2024 regular season. The move frees up the ceiling and allows the team to start with a clean section under its upcoming coach.
Therefore, the franchise can be used with Garrett Wilson dynamically. One option could be the Washington state product Kyle Williams.
Recently, Williams won the huge buzz of “sleeper prospect”. Over the next decade, his intelligence, proficiency, required football IQ to form an impressive punch or two with Wilson.
#1 Offensive Line
perhaps Aaron Rodgers If he had a repairable offensive line, time with the New York Jets would be more fruitful. But we will never know because the Jets released him in the offseason after two years with the team.
So Aaron Glenn’s team must invest in the best chances of success for Justin Fields. Drafting Armand Membou with the seventh pick can do this.
The Jets have a well-documented problem with the right tackle and Armand Membou seems to be tailored for the position. Missouri stars can line up against Olu Fashanu in Week 1.
