Umar Mir was born on 3 November 1993 in Pulwama, J&K. He is 6 feet 4 inches tall and is one of the tallest fast bowlers in Indian domestic cricket. He made his debut for J&K in 2013 and has since become a key player in the J&K bowling line-up.
