Worshipers killed in India Stampede at the world’s largest religious festival




More than a dozen people were killed, and many more injured in demolition at a huge religious festival in the Uttar Pradesh state in northern India. Indian Kumbh Mela is a Hindu festival holding the bank of the Ganges River. It seems that Stampede happened when the people who slept on the river’s bank were polluted by other worshipers trying to bathe in holy waters.
