A Lancet study estimates the number of dead in Gaza to be 40% higher than reported




Research published in the Lancet medical journal on Friday estimated that the number of deaths in Gaza during the first nine months of the war between Israel and Hamas was about 40 percent higher than recorded by the Palestinian Territory’s health ministry.
