India captain Rohit Sharma’s horrific form with the bat continued as he suffered yet another defeat in the ongoing Ranji Trophy clash between Mumbai and Jammu and Kashmir in Mumbai .
The right-handed batsman has faced heavy criticism of late for his poor batting form and his latest performance against Mumbai has only put more pressure on him. The T20 World Cup-winning skipper has offered his services to Mumbai for the ongoing Ranji Trophy clash after a poor showing against India in recent months.
Expectations were the highest from the star batsman but he failed to deliver the ball in the match. Rohit couldn’t deliver with the bat in either of the two innings. In the first innings, he scored only 3 runs as Mumbai were bowled out for 120 all out.

Rohit had a chance to turn things around in the second innings but he failed again. The Indian skipper started the match in the second innings with 28 runs with the help of two fours and three sixes. However, he could not convert it into a big score and came away with 28 off 35 balls.
The right-hander once again hit a poor shot. Abid Mushtaq grabbed a brilliant one-handed catch to end Rohit’s stay at the crease.

Rohit Sharma has failed to lead India from the front in the last two Test series. He looked completely out of touch during the 3-0 defeat against New Zealand. In these 3 Tests, he scored 91 runs at an average of 15.
Rohit Sharma gets a chance to make changes when India tour Australia for the five-match series. He missed the first Test for the birth of his second child and in his absence, India went on to beat the hosts and take the lead in the series.
The veteran batsman has an ideal platform to roar back and guide India to win the prestigious series. However, he had a bad time in Australia, both as a batsman and as captain. India went on to lose the match 3-1, with Rohit Sharma facing criticism from all quarters.
