the first season of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew ended on an optimistic note but not a particularly clean one. As the credits rolled on what we hoped wasn’t the last we’d seen of Wim, Fern, Neel, and KB, we were satisfied with where the story was headed but scratching our heads about. so many things. Will there be a season two?

If the answer to this question is “yes,” it basically rules out anything that comes after, so let’s deal with that first. According to the creators and showrunners of this week’s showno official word yet on the second season of Skeleton Crew. Rumors are that the audience, sometimes, is less than The Acolyte (which was cancelled), so it’s not good. However, the showrunners also said that the viewership of each episode continues to increase. We also don’t know how much it costs in comparison The Acolyteand the general vibes of the environment Skeleton Crew more positive than ever The Acolyte. We’re not sure if a second season will happen, but we’re hopeful.

How the Onyx Cinder buried in Attin in the first place?

The inspiring incident for all Skeleton Crew so the kids find a spaceship hidden underground in Attin. That ship, the Onyx Cinderlater revealed to be an Attin-built spaceship owned by pirate legend Tak Rennod. Which is all well and good, but how did it end up underground? Did Tak hide it for a reason? Did everything happen so long ago that the environment naturally grew on top of it? Either way, it’s a little weird.

What’s next for Jod Na Nawood?

The last time we see Jod, he is watching his pirate ship go down in flames with a small smile on his face. We don’t know what he’s thinking, and we don’t know where he’s going. Clearly, the people of Attin didn’t want him there but without a ship, he might have some issues leaving the planet. Is he still thinking of stealing some gold from the 1139 vaults? That seems plausible. Or maybe, he sneaks off and gets a new pirate crew. This is one of those questions that won’t be answered until season two happens.

Which Jedi trained Jod?

One of the biggest revelations at the end of Skeleton Crew so Jod can use the Force because a Jedi found and trained him as a child. However, he was hunted down and killed in front of him — presumably as part of Order 66. This raises some questions, about Jod’s training time and, more importantly, about this Jedi’s identity. The only clue we have is that the Jedi is both hungry and poor, which leads us to believe that the man escaped when Order 66 first happened, went into hiding, and was then found when he began training Jod. Luckily, it’s all something we can see in flashback when the show returns for a second season.

What happened to all the aliases?

Captain Silvo, Crimson Jack, Dash Zentin, Professor Umiam Gorelox, Jodwick Zank, an emissary of the Republic. Those are some of the names known to Jod’s people, if they are real names. But after an entire season filled with more specifics explaining that the character was known by different names to different people, it didn’t really have any significant payoff. Sure, he’s a pirate trying to be sneaky, but is that enough? Maybe.

How does this adventure change the children?

When Skeleton Crew started, there was no way Fern and KB, and certainly not Neel or Wim, would go out on the limb they did at the end to save Attin. In that way, their adventures definitely changed them as people. But we’re still wondering how it will show more than that. Are they still locked in working on “The Great Work”? (Plus some.) Will Wim really be able to pursue his interest in joining the New Republic? By ending the show where it did, we didn’t really get to see any great moments of how the characters changed. It can be as simple as something like…

Did Neel talk to Roona?

A great moment early in the show is the revelation that Neel has a crush on his fellow student, Roona. Now that he’s saved the entire planet, you have to think Neel will have the confidence to go up and talk to him. thought Skeleton Crew Very much inspired by the films of the 1980s, it is very fitting that the shy guy goes to his crush once he wins the day. So, we like to think it’s his, but we never saw it.

Who was on the New Republic ship that arrived?

At the end of Skeleton Crewwe saw a CR90 Corvette arrive at Attin. This ship—the most famous of which is the Tantive IV from A New Hope— was the one used by many powerful people in the New Republic. And you’d think someone important would go investigate the mysterious planet that’s disappeared for generations and miraculously reappeared. Could it be Ackbar? holdo? Leia? Huh? We’ll never know, but we thought for a while that we might.

What does the future hold for Attin?

Throughout Skeleton Crewit was made very clear that the Attin were hidden from the rest of the galaxy for a very good reason. Later, we learned that reason: it was the last place that had a mint to make credits in the Old Republic. That secret is now gone, and the fall holds many possibilities. In fact, we’re going to break them into a whole new tangent of questions.

Is the population okay with what happened?

Deciding to remove the barrier that kept Attin isolated from the rest of the galaxy was a big deal. One made by, basically, four kids and some of their parents. Sure, Fern’s mother Fara is part of the government but one would imagine that the population of an entire planet would have something to say—positive and negative—about such a big decision being made so hastily. On the other hand…

How does the galaxy feel about Attin?

Skeleton Crew it is made clear that there is a certain mythology around Attin. Many people have heard of it but no one thinks it exists. Well, now, anyone can find it. Does that mean people will show up to find the treasure Jod discovered? Will people be angry that the planet kept to itself for so long? This, to us, feels like a big deal.

Who knows what Attin is?

Clearly, the secrets of At Attin are deeper than “We make money here.” Fara knew a droid was in charge of it. There is a whole protocol in place to transfer credits. Children are raised to only take jobs to serve them. We’re still curious about who knows what and how deep it all goes? Again, this is one of those things that will definitely be explored more in the coming seasons.

Is there anything greater than the Great Work?

Is it really “good” to make and save a bunch of money? Is the bank “good?” For someone like Jod, it is, but you have to think about the people of Attin, and especially whoever built it, felt that money was made for a greater purpose. There must be a reason why this job is so good. And we don’t know what that is yet.

Can the New Republic use gold?

A potential result of Skeleton Crew season one is that the New Republic is now flush with cash. It’s clearly assumed that they’re the good guys (which is a solid argument considering it’s also the only Galatic Republic), and peace doesn’t come cheap. Can the Attin finance the continued survival of the galaxy? Will the New Republic make it easier? How? And, wouldn’t that make Attin just another target for powerful military minds of the time like Grand Admiral Thrawn? As we said, there are many questions.

How can Attin run without a supervisor?

With the At Attin supervisor gone, who will take over? It’s clear that this must be someone who knows all the secrets of the planet—but since this is an immortal droid that runs things, maybe no one knows everything. That can make for a strange, chaotic transition. Again, just something we’d like to see explored in the future.
