At least 70 dead in central Nigeria after fuel tanker explosion




At least 70 people were killed in central Nigeria on Saturday when an overturned fuel tanker caught fire, burning those who rushed to pick up gas. The price of gasoline has quintupled in 18 months, prompting many to risk their lives to retrieve fuel during tanker truck accidents, which authorities say are common in Nigeria.
