Caroline Dubois brutally defeated Jessica Camara, but an accidental head collision ruled out the Canadian challenger and it ended in a technical draw.

Dubois retains the WBC lightweight world title and will likely consider it a victory in name only.

This is Dubois’ first defense of the belt after being promoted from interim champion to official world champion. But from the opening bell, she looked like the perfect champion.

The southpaw from London attacked her challenger with ruthless efficiency. Dubois landed a hard jab and then a vicious straight one-two that knocked Kamara down.

She landed a vicious left hook and landed more punches in her bid to end the fight early.

Kamala must remain on high alert. But Dubois still poked her backhand left through.

Dubois kept Kamara under pressure throughout the second round. The challenger was badly bruised, with a broken nose and serious wounds.

Before the third round began, referee Kieran McCann called a timeout so Kamara could be examined by doctors. The Canadian was unable to continue, but the referee determined the injury was caused by an accidental collision of the head and the game ended in a technical draw.

Dubois dominated the fight and while she didn’t get the win, she did defend her WBC world title.

“I didn’t think she wanted it. I hit her with a straight right and knocked her out in the first round,” Dubois said afterwards.

“I saw that her right eye was swollen, and that was because she was punched. At the wound, the blood did not flow to her face, but to one side of her face. I was hitting her, and the blood might Splattered on her face.

“She didn’t want to do it, man. The doctors stopped it, or I stopped it.”

Londoner Devine Miller began his scheduled eight-round contest. Scott Forrest brightly. He kept pumping his fists and trying to move forward.

He again knocked Miller down with a right hook, but the Londoner still fought back.

Forrest then ended the fight with a devastating finish in the second round. Just when it looked like Forrest was backed into the ropes, he stopped Miller with a left hook and knocked him down with a right hook.

Miller pounded the canvas. He tried to regain his strength but fell to the ground again and had to be stopped at 1-49 of the second round.

Sam Hickey This game should be tricky for a second pro game. But the Scotsman makes it look easy.

But Ellison was brave throughout, making the fight exciting with his counterattacks and holding on to the finish.

Mario Silva joint stock Emmanuel Zion Jab, and start hitting long, backhand shots. The crowd warmed to his efforts as Silva dominated the match as he pushed Zion against the ropes.

But the Londoner did put up some resistance in the later rounds as he began attacking Silva with uppercuts of his own, giving the Mancunian brief pause for thought.

Silva was still the clear winner, taking the points 59-56 after six games.

Leeds Ellis Price dominant Liam Fitzmauricea local man who is making his professional boxing debut. A meaty left hook to the head triggered the first knockdown. Price knocked him down a second time before further punches prompted the referee to pull Fitzmaurice out in the first round.
