Chris Wood joins from Burnley, Newcastle’s 2022 relegation rivals.

Midfielder Yohan Cabaye joined Newcastle from Lille in 2011 and spent two and a half years at St James’ Park.
Wearing the number 4 jersey, the Frenchman was a regular in black and white, scoring 18 goals before being drafted. Sold to Paris Saint-Germain Spending £20 million in January 2014.

Alexander Mitrovitch
Donated £22m to Fulham in 2018
Aleksandar Mitrovic got his first taste of English football when Newcastle signed him from Anderlecht in 2015. The Serbian failed to help the team stay in the top flight in his first season but did play his part in the title-winning squad in 2016/17.
In 2018, Mitrovic was loaned to Fulham and then moved permanently. After playing for the club, he was promoted to the Premier League three times with the Cottagers. £22 million transfer.

Donate £23 million to Al Ahli in 2023
Crafty winger Alain Saint-Maximin was a fan favorite during his four years at St James’ Park, wowing fans with his ability on the ball.
Newcastle United also profited from the Frenchman, selling him to Saudi Arabian Professional League side Al Ahli. £23 million The transfer could help balance the Magpies’ books in 2023.

Georginio Wijnaldum

Midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum only played for Newcastle for one season in the 2015/16 season after joining from PSV Eindhoven.

Like Sissoko, Ayoze Perez only paid for Newcastle £1.5 million and sold as £30 million. The striker joined from Tenerife in 2014 and scored 48 goals in 195 games.
Leicester City invested heavily in the attacker in 2019, and Perez went on to win the FA Cup with the Foxes.
