Here’s how TSMC’s fourth-quarter results compare to the LSE consensus estimate:
- Net revenue: NT$868.46 billion (US$26.36 billion), compared with NT$850.08 billion expected
- Net profit: NT$374.68 billion, expected to be NT$366.61 billion
TSMC’s first-quarter revenue increased by 38.8% year-on-year, and net profit increased by 57%.
The company expects fourth-quarter revenue to be between $26.1 billion and $26.9 billion.
TSMC is the world’s largest contract chip manufacturer, producing advanced processors for: NVIDIA and apple and benefit from the megatrend of artificial intelligence.
