DOJ investigates state or local officials who obstructed immigration enforcement: Memo

The Justice Department wants federal prosecutors across the country to investigate state or local officials who obstruct immigration enforcement under President Trump’s new administration, according to a new memo obtained by Fox News.

“The Department of Justice must and will work to neutralize these threats,” Trump’s former defense attorney and acting deputy attorney general Emile Bove wrote in the memo. “Indeed, the Department of Justice has a duty to defend the Constitution and is lawful accordingly. Implement the policies that the American people elected President Trump to implement.”
