Dwyane Wade has had more time than ever to share with his family since retiring in 2019 after 16 years in the NBA. Wade is married to Gabrielle Union and the couple has been together since 2019. They made their relationship public in 2010 and got married four years later in 2014.

Union shared a post on Instagram on Monday afternoon with a caption expressing her gratitude for spending family time with her husband and children.

“Reminder: Count your blessings, cherish the moments, and love the people who make it all worth it,” Union captioned her post with a photo of her and Wade at a recent wine tasting event.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have one child together, daughter Kaavia Wade, and Wade’s relationship with ex-wife Siobhan Siohvaughn Funches’ two children; Zaya and Zaire Wade. He is also the father of his son Xavier and the guardian of his nephew Davin Morris. Union is the stepmother of Wade’s children from a previous relationship.

Dwyane Wade celebrates 43rd birthday

Dwyane Wade celebrated his 43rd birthday on January 17 and received tons of birthday wishes from family and friends. Union wished her husband a happy birthday on Instagram.

Union’s post shows the evolution of Wade’s photos, dating back to his childhood. She also wrote a heartfelt caption:

“It’s amazing to have a front-row seat to witness your growth as a man, husband, father, businessman, friend, commentator, public speaker, Oscar-nominated producer, podcast host, team owner, and even as a neighbor. “Your self-awareness, your ability to be vulnerable, your natural laughter and your dogged determination to protect the rights of marginalized people will be televised.”

The alliance continued:

“You are who many claim you are. You are one of the babies. As your family said last week when they were frozen during the evacuation, ‘It’s time!’ You are our sweet and handsome leader, It’s your time now, happy 43rd birthday BayBeeeeeee!”

Wade has transformed into a leader off the court after a Hall of Fame basketball career. Most recently, he had a statue erected in front of the Kasea Center, home of the Miami Heat.
