Gisèle Pelicot’s lawyer said Friday that his client is “not afraid” of a possible appeal trial, a day after her ex-husband and 50 other men were convicted in the biggest rape trial in French history. Two of the defendants have already filed an appeal, and her ex-husband’s lawyer has not ruled out the possibility of doing the same.
