‘It’s ironic that Trump is taking credit’ for Gaza ceasefire deal, says John Bolton




FRANCE 24 spoke with John Bolton, former national security adviser under Donald Trump. Bolton was reacting to a ceasefire agreement reached for Gaza after a devastating 15-month war between Israel and Hamas. The agreement was reached through cooperation between the outgoing Biden administration and the incoming Trump team, and after months of diplomatic activity under Biden’s leadership. “It’s kind of ironic that Trump is taking credit for putting the Biden deal over the line,” Bolton commented.
