Juventus have set their sights on Manchester United’s Tyrell Malacia, according to the Daily Star. The Italian giants have long been linked with a move for Joshua Zirkzee, who bologna last summer.
The Dutch striker enjoyed great success at Bologna last season under Thiago Motta. With Zirkzee struggling at the Red Devils as the Italian manager took over in Turin last summer, talk of a shake-up had been underway for some time.
However, it now appears that Juventus are also eyeing Malaysia. The Dutch left-back recently returned to action after an 18-month absence due to injury.
Malacia has made four appearances for Manchester United this season, all of which were starts. He even earned praise from new head coach Ruben Amorim.
However, the 25-year-old’s future remains uncertain as the Portuguese boss attempts to implement his 3-4-3 system at Old Trafford. The Red Devils may invest in a specialist left-back this year, especially with Luke Shaw out injured again.
juventus The situation is being closely monitored to find Danilo’s replacement. The Brazilian is expected to leave Turin at the end of the season, with the Italian giants hoping to take his place at Malacia.
Juve plan to sign the Dutchman on loan in January and make him permanent at the end of the season. The player’s contract with Manchester United runs until 2026.
Will Joshua Zirkzee leave Manchester United for Juventus in 2025?
Manchester United signed Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna last summer for a reported £36 million. However, the Dutchman’s performances at Old Trafford have been disappointing so far. The 23-year-old has only scored four goals in 27 appearances for the Red Devils so far.
Juventus, meanwhile, have struggled to score goals this season under Thiago Motta. After 18 games, they are fifth in the Serie A standings, already 12 points behind leaders Napoli, and they believe the Dutch forward can solve their goal-scoring woes.
However, according to “GOAL”, Juventus managing director Giutoli recently spoke and remained vague about Zirkzee’s possible transfer.
“Zirkzee? It would be inappropriate to mention names, but we are keeping an eye out for any interesting opportunities,” Giuntoli said.
The Dutch have Manchester United Until 2029, but the Red Devils can let him leave for a suitable fee.
