Kevin Costner Reach new milestones.
Costner celebrated his 70th birthday by sharing a photo of himself as a child dressed as a cowboy.
“Thank you for the birthday wishes,” Costner wrote in his Instagram post.
“This is who I am, if you can believe it. I started pursuing the cowboy life as soon as I could walk, and I still do,” he continued. “Another year, let’s continue to focus on our dreams.”

Costner spent the last year focusing on his passion project, Horizon, and raising his children. ‘Field of Dreams’ star has three children with ex-wife Christine Baumgartner. Costner also shares three adult children with ex-wife Cindy Silva and a son with Bridget Rooney. The actor’s children are the “anchor” of his life.
“They knew I chose this job, but honestly, I really knew where my responsibilities lay,” he told People.
“They were like shooting stars,” Costner added. “My life is driving up and down the highway just trying to get kids to where they think they need to be…but that’s part of the job.”
“I started pursuing the cowboy life as soon as I could walk, and I still do.”

Baumgartner filed for divorce in May 2023. The two endured a bitter court battle over custody of their children, with Costner ultimately prevailing. Baumgartner and the actor finalized their divorce in February 2024.
Before the former couple signed the settlement, Costner told Fox News Digital There are no winners in the divorce battle.
“You know, when you spend your life with someone for so long, there’s no winner… It’s this big, crazy thing called life and how it can fall apart so quickly,” he explain. “One minute you feel like you’re on top of the world, and the next you realize how… fragile you are.”
