Manchester City have bolstered their defensive ranks with the signing of 19-year-old Brazilian defender Vitor Reis from Palmeiras.
The club have completed a £29.6 million deal for the promising young talent, who has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract.
Right-footed central defender Reyes has played 22 times for Palmeiras and represented Brazil at under-17 level.
“It’s a dream come true, because ever since I was a little kid I’ve always dreamed of an opportunity like this and playing for a club as big as City,” Reece said.
“The intensity of Manchester City, its history and its structure. When there was a knock on the door and it was Manchester City, I knew there was nowhere else to go.”

“I am a very keen athlete, with a great desire to win.
“So you can all be sure that I will leave and give everything on the pitch.
“I have a lot of desire and determination and I am a player who loves a challenge, a good header and a pass.
“City like to play with a lot of possession, I like to play that way too.
“City have shown faith in me when they decided to sign me and that gives me a lot of confidence.”
City’s Premier League title defense has been blighted by injury issues this term, particularly in defence.
The club have already signed Uzbekistani defender Abdukodir Khusanov in this window and are reported to be close to a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush before the transfer window closes.
