Chelsea will demand upwards of £60m to let the Frenchman leave, so there’s clearly a lot of work to be done on that front, and it’s unclear whether Bayern would be willing to pay such a price for Nkunku – although he is clearly the top target.
It is believed that if Nkunku does exit Stamford Bridge Chelsea will aim to bring in a new striker before February 3 (Simon Phillips). Ipswich Town star Liam Delap is high on joint sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley’s wish list, with the Blues having been in contact with the 21-year-old.
Chelsea make contact with Delap’s camp for second time The past few weeks, and more recently (Simon Phillips). This interest comes from his impressive Premier League During his season at Portman Road he shone as one of Kieran McKenna’s star players in a team threatened with relegation.
The former Manchester City gem is far from their only reported forward target, though, and there are suggestions that Chelsea could even compete with Arsenal for RB Leipzig starlet Benjamin Sesco.
Chelsea hold talks with Dusan Vlahovic through his representatives
Interestingly, according to reports from Calciomercato, Sesco is not the only forward Chelsea could challenge Arsenal for.
Juventus strike Dusan Vlahovich Targeted by two London clubs, the Serbia international faces uncertainty over his future as his contract expires in 2026. Chelsea have made contact with Vlahovic’s campAlong with Arsenal, both sides are looking for a new striker.
According to the report, the 24-year-old earns around £195,000-a-week and has scored 12 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions so far.
Calcio claims Vlahovic will be allowed to leave before the deadline, but not unless the club pay the asking price of up to £51m. The former Fiorentina star scored 21 goals for the Viola in the 2020/2021 season, his best season to date, but scored 18 goals for Juventus last season, Very close to that number.
Vlahovic is clearly a player who knows where the goal is, so regardless of his contract situation, Juve are not planning to let him go cheaply.
