Michael Vaughan was asked about his predictions for the T20 series between India and England. Warne says England will win the series with a 3-2 advantage.

India have won three of the last five T20Is against England. In 2022, England lost the home series 1-2 to India, but they bounced back by beating India by 10 wickets in the T20 World Cup semi-finals.

Former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has highlighted the importance of the T20I series against England. He said this series is crucial for head coach Gautam Gambhir, especially after India’s recent consecutive Test series losses in New Zealand and Australia and the ODI series in Sri Lanka.

“Let’s hope he (Gautam Gambhir) can feel a bit settled and the pressure is off. He will have a new set of young players and it might be an easier challenge for him than what he faced in Australia. So. , it is important to win these games,” Manjrekar told ESPNcricinfo.

“It will just make him feel part of the team but what happens with the Champions Trophy and the tour of England could undo all the good work he could have done before. So, that’s two games,” Manjrekar said additional.

India and England will face off in three-match ODI series after T20Is

After the T20I series, India and England will play a three-match ODI series. After that, the two teams will travel to Dubai and Pakistan respectively to compete for the 2025 International ICC Champions Trophy.

Competition will begin on February 19th, with the finals scheduled for March 9th. Rohit Sharma-led India will take on Bangladesh on February 20 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The England team will play their first match in Lahore on February 22.
