Oracle shares rise 9% after Trump unveils $500 billion AI plan By Reuters


LONDON (Reuters) – Shares in Oracle (NYSE: ) jumped nearly 9% in Frankfurt on Wednesday, after U.S. President Donald Trump said the company would make a big investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure, with OpenAI and SoftBank (TYO:).

The joint venture, called Stargate, plans to invest $500 billion, Trump said at the White House the other day.

Oracle shares rose 3% after the closing bell on Tuesday, after regular trading up 7%, boosted by joint venture reports.
