Residents allowed to return while firefighters progressed on the fire of northern Los Angeles




Tens of thousands of people were allowed to return to their homes because the authorities on Thursday alleviated an evacuation order, with firefighters, with the help of helicopters falling on the water, finding some success in limiting fires in the mountains north of Los Angeles. Multiple uncontrolled fires around the city and surrounding counties continue to put residents under the evacuation warnings.
