Shockingly, Saif’s residence in Mumbai’s Bandra area was attacked by unidentified thieves. The attacker broke into the actor’s home and stabbed him six times. After the brutal attack, Saif was taken to hospital by his family and is currently recovering. According to reports, Saif is now out of danger and is receiving continuous medical monitoring. His fans and well-wishers were relieved to learn that he is in stable condition after the traumatic incident.

Saif said cricket is so ingrained in his family that it is almost considered a religion. Both his father and grandfather were captains of the Indian cricket team and his grandfather even played with legends Australia batter Don Bradman. Although he also played cricket, he admitted that the mental demands of the game, which required patience and timing, were not his strong points, which ultimately ended his cricketing dreams prematurely.
