The capital of Chad is quiet after the aborted armed attack on the presidential palace




Calm has returned to Chad’s capital N’Djamena, a spokesman for the military-run government said on Thursday after an armed attack on the presidential palace by a 24-strong commando unit was foiled the previous day.
