The fight to save thousands of animals as fires rage in Los Angeles




As the wildfires raging around Los Angeles force tens of thousands from their homes, activists, veterinarians and volunteers across the region are scrambling to provide shelter for thousands of animals left homeless by the blaze, some in need of treatment for injuries. An equestrian center in LA already houses hundreds of horses, along with donkeys, pigs and ponies.
