The President of Lebanon has appointed ICJ judge Nawaf Salam as Prime Minister




The newly elected Lebanese President Joseph Aoun on Monday called on the judge of the International Court of Justice, Nawaf Salam, to appoint him as the new prime minister of the crisis-stricken country. Local media previously said that Salam has the support of more than half of the country’s lawmakers.
