Trump family returns to Washington ahead of Inauguration Day

President-elect Trump On Saturday night, he boarded a special mission Air Force plane and returned to Washington, marking his historic return after four years.

Trump, his wife Melania and their young son Barron set off from West Palm Beach, Florida, to the nation’s capital, waving to the crowd before walking up the steps.

Trump celebrated his return to power with a celebration at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, about 30 miles from Washington.

He addressed the crowd, praising Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and declaring his Middle East envoy Steve Witkopf a “great negotiator.” Witkov last week Help negotiate ceasefire The agreement between Israel and Hamas is set to come into effect on Sunday.

Hours earlier, Trump and his family arrived in Sterling, Virginia, where they met with Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin and First Lady Susanna Youngkin at Trump National Golf Club.

Youngkin welcomed the President-elect and First Lady Melania Trump to the club and presented them with a solemn gift.

A photo of the Trumps and the Younkins posted to X around 8 p.m. showed the exchange.

The Trumps will host an evening reception and fireworks show later that night.

Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner joined the president-elect on the trip.

Trump’s second son Eric and daughter-in-law Laura left Florida on the president-elect’s private jet.

During the flight, Eric Trump Sharing with X his “new hope and spirit for the country.”

“The past decade has been a constant battle — countless rallies, television appearances, subpoenas, depositions, and weeks in cold courtrooms,” Eric Trump wrote in the post. “My family, the company I run and the employees I care about are under relentless attack and we face slander, fake news, home raids and countless games designed to destroy us.”

His immediate family, including wife Lara and children Luke and Carolina, traveled with him to Washington, D.C.

Eric Trump wrote that “every ounce of his effort” was for his children and the future of their generation.

“This time, America won,” he added.

“Despite the odds, we did it with the incredible people of this country and the greatest political movement in history,” Eric Trump wrote. “I have never done more for anyone than me. (Donald Trump) is steadfast and has true courage. Our country is in great hands. America is in an era of renewal.”

On Sunday, Trump will attend a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Arlington National Cemetery and a “Make America Great Again” rally, followed by a candlelight dinner.

With freezing temperatures expected, the inauguration will take place at noon Monday in the Capitol Rotunda. Later, Trump, the second consecutively elected president in history, will deliver his inaugural address.

Thousands of protesters took to the streets on Saturday hours before the Trumps boarded a plane washington d.c.,protest.

this “People’s March” Originally known as the Women’s March, there were three rally locations, each supporting a different cause.

Some topics include “gender justice,” democracy and immigration, and local issues in Washington.
