Trump said Putin wanted to meet with him, the meeting was set up by Reuters


WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said on Thursday that a meeting had taken place between him and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“He wanted to meet, and we set it up,” Trump said in remarks before a meeting of Republican governors at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump offered no timeline for a meeting.
