Washington, D.C., is preparing for Monday’s inauguration of the 47th President, Donald J. Trump, despite extreme weather forcing the swearing-in ceremony to be held indoors.
Inauguration Day begins with a ceremony at noon. According to Destination DC, the event concludes with the official inaugural ball.
Many restaurants in the greater Washington area have inauguration themes Specials and Experiences To commemorate the event, they told Fox News Digital earlier this week.

At New Heights Restaurant in Washington, D.C.’s Woodley Park neighborhood, you can take a culinary journey through history with a special three-course dinner menu, “A Presidential Feast: Flavors from Inaugural History.”
Available only through the end of January, this meal features official menu items from past U.S. presidential congressional lunches.
The congressional lunch is a long-standing tradition that follows the swearing-in ceremony.
“We’ve seen seven leaders serve in office since New Heights opened in 1986, so creating a menu with dishes that past presidents loved was truly an awe-inspiring moment for me,” said Executive Chef Jose Molina.
“Cooking for others has always been my greatest joy – it’s why I became a chef – so I can’t think of a better way to celebrate this history than by giving our guests the opportunity to enjoy these iconic dishes ,” he also said.
